Quick Recap – Adjectives
An adjective is a describing word.
It tells us more about a noun such as its color, size, number, or feeling.
Examples:

a red apple

a big dog

a happy child
Adjectives can come:

Before a noun → a blue ball

After “is/are” → The ball is blue.
Types of Adjectives

Color: red, green, yellow

Size: big, small, tall

Number: one, two, many

Feeling: happy, sad, excited
Remember

Noun = naming word

Verb = action word
-
Adjective = describing word
Example sentence:
The small dog is happy.
Adjectives make our sentences clear, colorful, and interesting.
